NORC researches issues related to security with the goal of informing the public and policy makers and improving Americans' security and quality of life.
Security is addressed holistically; not only does NORC study specific homeland security issues, but security and safety issues spanning the national, regional, state, and local levels.
Security is an emerging area of research for NORC, and will be expanded upon by the Department of Security, Energy, and the Environment.
