NORC’s Prashila Dullabh Receives IAHSI Fellowship
CHICAGO, July 12, 2023 — NORC is proud to announce that Prashila Dullabh, vice president and senior fellow in Health Sciences, has been elected to the 2023 fellowship class of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI).
The IAHSI, which is the honor society for the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), recognizes expertise in biomedical and health informatics internationally. The fellowship is one of the highest honors in the field and recognizes substantial achievements in health and biomedical informatics. Dullabh is one of 24 Academy Fellows elected this year.
At NORC, Dullabh is a vice president, senior fellow, and director of the Health Implementation Science Center. Her work focuses on the intersection of informatics and policy and the use of technology in health care delivery and research. She leads NORC’s work on informatics and patient-centered outcomes research, which emphasizes data infrastructure needs for patient-centered research and disseminating evidence through innovative technologies like clinical decision support tools.
Prashila holds a medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
