Amy expertly orchestrates high-profile client events at NORC, managing logistics, minimizing vendor risk, and optimizing spend.

Since joining NORC in August 2018, Amy has served as associate director of operations and logistics on the Technical and Operational Support Contract for the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC), supported by the Office of the Secretary, Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), and the Office of Health Policy at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). For ASPE and PTAC, she plans and facilitates all PTAC virtual monthly administrative sessions and quarterly hybrid public meetings in Washington, DC, and via Zoom, while providing year-round operational support to the PTAC Committee.

In her role as associate director of events in NORC’s Strategic Communications & External Affairs department, Amy leads an expanding team of certified event professionals, further educating NORC staff on the in-house professional event support available for client projects.

Amy has 30 years of experience leading, planning, and managing meetings of various sizes and scopes for corporations, associations, and government clients, including HHS’ Administration for Children and Families, National Cancer Institute (NCI) , and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). She has a strong track record of successfully convening multiple high-profile meetings under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) for HHS offices and agencies, including ASPE and NCI.

For NCI’s Division of Extramural Activities, Amy planned and facilitated meetings for four years for the President’s Cancer Panel, National Cancer Advisory Board, and Board of Scientific Advisors. She excels in all facets of meeting planning and management, including client and vendor communication, WebEx and Zoom virtual meeting platform management, Federal government travel and FACA meeting regulations, budgeting, hotel contract negotiation, logistics, and onsite support.

Amy’s leadership, attention to detail, and deep events industry knowledge ensure she delivers exceptional events for NORC and its clients. Her priorities include designing and producing high-quality client convenings, elevating NORC events, reducing event contract risk and costs, and building trusted partnerships that lead to repeat business.
