Press Release

For Media Inquiries:

CHICAGO, February 5, 2025 — NORC at the University of Chicago is excited to announce a new headquarters in Chicago at 300 East Randolph.

“NORC has grown its revenue and workforce substantially over the past five years and now employs nearly 2,400 people nationwide, with more than 600 staff members in the Chicago area,” said Greg Lanier, NORC’s chief communications officer. “Like most other organizations that support hybrid work arrangements in today’s post-pandemic environment, we are examining how our office space can better support the ways we work. Our new headquarters will feature flexible workspaces that support our growing staff, more efficient and cost-effective use of space, and improved amenities for our teams.”

“We anticipate moving from our current offices at 55 E. Monroe Street to our new headquarters in the beginning of 2026,”  Dan Gaylin, NORC’s president and CEO, said. “While our needs have evolved, our commitment to Chicago’s vibrant business community remains steadfast. Our relocation ensures our staff will continue to thrive in a dynamic space that supports our mission while remaining deeply connected to the city we’re proud to call home."
