Senior Research Methodologist
Ji Eun focuses on psychometrics, latent variable modeling, cognitive testing, and evaluation studies that address equity in education and health.

Ji Eun is a senior research methodologist in the Methodology and Quantitative Social Sciences department at NORC at the University of Chicago. At NORC, Ji Eun has led several projects under the Analytic Capacity for the National Survey of Early Care and Education (NSECE) that focus on survey design and analyses, methodological and quality oversight, and development of trainings to a variety of research communities. Ji Eun is also experienced in the management and processing of various administrative data; she was a lead methodologist for designing and building a social determinants of health database (SDOH-RD) for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Ji Eun has provided methodological and analytical expertise to a range of projects at NORC: the Evaluation of the Next Generation Accountable Care Organization Model (NGACO), the Law Enforcement Officer Safety & Wellness Initiative (OSAW), Maternal Health Portfolio Evaluation and Capacity Building, American Time Use Survey (ATUS) Web Diary Pilot Study, Math Mindset, and Survey of the Doctorate Recipients (SDR).

Before coming to NORC, Ji Eun was a senior statistician at the School District of Philadelphia and an associate at the Center for Global Health and Economic Development (CGHED) at the Earth Institute, Columbia University.
