“I look forward to working with our exceptional team to push the boundaries of current developments in survey methodology and ensure our work has a lasting impact on public policy and beyond.”

Bilgen joined NORC in 2011 and the AmeriSpeak® team in 2017. She has overseen the AmeriSpeak probability panel’s methodological research, consulted on the panel’s methodology, and led survey design, questionnaire development, and review support, as well as cognitive interview and usability testing efforts for client studies.

“Ipek has been a leading proponent of best practices in panel surveys for several years, and I am sure her deep knowledge of survey methodology will allow the center to be a prominent voice toward increasing panel survey science,” said David Dutwin, executive director and senior vice president of AmeriSpeak.

The center provides expertise in building a range of panels, from the general population to specific demographic groups, such as young adults, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities, STEM professionals, and people age 50 and older.
