NORC Announces Ting Yan as AmeriSpeak Chief Scientist

CHICAGO, January 23, 2025 — NORC at the University of Chicago is pleased to announce that Ting Yan, vice president of the Methodology & Quantitative Social Sciences (MQSS) department, will be joining AmeriSpeak® as chief scientist. AmeriSpeak is NORC’s premier multiclient, panel-based research platform. Yan will oversee all AmeriSpeak statistics and methods while continuing her role in MQSS.

Yan rejoined NORC in September 2024. She previously worked at NORC from 2007 to 2012 as a survey methodologist.
