NORC Strengthens IT Leadership Team with Addition of Two Senior Vice Presidents

CHICAGO, July 23, 2024 – NORC at the University of Chicago’s Information Technology team is pleased to welcome new senior vice presidents Rockwell Scott and Kashmira Pradhan. This strategic move comes as part of NORC's continued commitment to innovation and excellence.

Scott joins NORC as chief digital transformation officer (CDTO) with a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years in IT engineering, information security, and supply chain and logistics management. He has held leadership positions at multiple Fortune 500 companies in diverse industries, including technology, energy, and a leading global research firm where he advised CIO, CTO, and CISO clients. His deep understanding of IT strategy and operations will bolster NORC's efforts to remain at the forefront of research technology and data security.

Pradhan, NORC’s new chief technology officer, Data and Intelligence Systems, brings over 20 years of experience in IT leadership, with a strong background in implementing data platforms, data management, system integration, and strategy. Prior to joining NORC, Pradhan served as the vice president of Information Technology and Innovation at a highly respected insurance firm, where she spearheaded numerous initiatives to advance the organization's technological capabilities, cybersecurity, and data integrity. Her expertise in developing robust IT infrastructures and driving innovation will be pivotal to NORC's mission.

Scott is pursuing an MBA in International Business from the Heriot-Watt University-Edinburgh Business School.

As senior vice presidents of IT, Scott and Pradhan will oversee NORC’s comprehensive IT strategy, focusing on enhancing the organization’s data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technological capabilities. Their leadership will be instrumental in supporting NORC’s ongoing projects and expanding its capacity to deliver high-quality research and data services to clients.

Pradhan is pursuing an MS in Information Systems from American University. She earned her BE in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
